Skughofey Foundation

Strengthening Communities and Empowering Youth

The Skughofey Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth through comprehensive educational programs that embody the principles of Respect, Leadership, Responsibility, and Discipline. Since our inception in 2013, we have been committed to supporting young individuals as they strive toward higher education and personal growth.

Our foundation actively serves the communities of Altadena and Pasadena in California, specifically focusing on District 1,3,5,6 of Pasadena, in collaboration with the Pasadena Unified School District. We recognize the unique challenges faced by youth in urban areas and seek to empower them through mentorship, resources, and community engagement.

We also extend our support to Shelby County in Memphis, Tennessee, particularly within the Orange Mound area, which maintains a strong affiliation with the University of Memphis. Furthermore, we are proud to serve Multnomah County in Portland, Oregon, and the Compton Unified School District in Compton, California.

In addition to our educational initiatives, the Skughofey Foundation is deeply committed to community service, particularly for vulnerable populations. We have implemented a range of services aimed at supporting homeless individuals and families in need. During the holidays, we provide hot meals to the homeless community, ensuring that they have access to nourishing food during this critical time. Our quarterly outreach programs distribute essential items such as blankets, shoes, hoodies, and toiletries, directly addressing the immediate needs of those experiencing homelessness.

Collaboration is at the heart of our work. The Skughofey Foundation partners with various non-profit organizations and local churches to expand community resources and host events designed for underprivileged families. By leveraging these partnerships, we aim to create a more equitable environment that fosters growth, opportunity, and resilience.

Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of youth and families in our communities. Through education, support, and service, the Skughofey Foundation is committed to uplifting those in need and creating a brighter future for all.
